As you know, I am not technically inclined. I write everything with a fountain pen on smooth white note pads made in France. However, I am thrilled to have us connected by this website.

Because of my writing and speaking schedule, as well as my time with family and friends, I'm no longer able to answer every letter I receive, but I will do my best to respond to as many as possible.

Additionally, I am hoping you will take pleasure in sending me postcards, notes or letters through the mail, as you have in the past. The Gift of a Letter is one of my favorite books and I'm working to see that it will be available not just in paperback, but in hardcover (currently sold out).

Years ago, when I had a newsletter, pre-website, I randomly called you or a friend. I intend to send out autographed books or surprise items every month to those of you who are on the website mailing list. I will rely on the names and addresses from this website as my master list in order to save time and duplication.
